GoPro Hero 13/12/11/10/9/8 PVS-14 Night Vision Adapter
****NEW - Carbon Black color, is made out a more expensive carbon fiber / plastic material that has shown to be stronger and is much closer to a matte finish than the green version.****
An adapter that allows for easy recording with a GoPro Hero 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8 cameras with your PVS-14 night vision (NOT INCLUDED). The kit allows for handheld and tripod use as well as use with included para-cord as a lanyard. The for best recording set the GoPro lens setting to Narrow.
The adapter attaches to both the J Arm mount as well as the objective lens creating a very secure mounting system.
The magnifier option adds a compact “viewfinder” that allows you to better see the screen on the GoPro. This makes it easier for focusing and just viewing in general. The viewfinder fits over the back of the GoPro and can be easily removed / added. You can jerry rig something similar by looking on Amazon for DSLR viewfinders.
As far as we can find this is the only magnified viewfinder for a GoPro 9/10/11/12/13.

NOTE #1: For best results set GoPro to the following settings:
Hero 9/10 - Narrow lens
Hero 11 - Linear lens for lens and, zoom to 1.4x / MAX (located in the setting screen next to timer)
All stabilization OFF
Data Rate “High”
Hero 9 max ISO 800 (1600 dark conditions, image quality will be lower)
Hero 10 max ISO 1600
Hero 11 max ISO 3200, for very dark situations, ISO 1600 for most
A more simple setting that can work is setting EV Comp to as low as possible
Go Pro, Tripod and PVS-14 not included, I know this might seem obvious, but have you should see the email questions…
NOTE #2: It DOES work with many camera gimbals and allows for smooth / stabilized movement.
NOTE #3: It does NOT work with the new 2024 ($200) "GoPro Hero" well, it does technically work with it, you can not adjust the FOV making the image of the NV very small. It is NOT recommended for it.
